Following the catastrophic explosions in Tianjin last night (BBC) Jackie has donated 3 million RMB to help the families of firefighters injured or killed in the explosions. Other celebrities including Fan Bingbing (Skiptrace) have followed his example.
The explosions occured in a toxic chemical plant in the port area of Tianjin. 50 people have died and hundreds have been injured by the blasts. In addition to the damage done by the explosions, there is also pollution from the chemicals in the factory that exploded. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Tianjin.
